Description:  French Victorian sterling silver bangle with hand engraved decoration.   The Victorians loved nature and everything in it had a meaning to them.   Swallows or sparrows, like the one that adorns this bangle, were considered to be messengers of love.   They also symbolized cheerfulness as well as the arrival of good news.   The back of the bangle is undecorated.
