Description:  Fantastically detailed hand-carved snake, or chimera bracelet, strung on a sprung steel coil.
This bracelet is fashioned out of some type of ivory, possibly mammoth ivory, with tiny dark blue glass beads for eyes.    The body consists of carved beads, graduating to a forked tail.    The head features amazing detail in the individually carved teeth, tongue, and eyes.
Excellent original condition; a small hairline crack on the underside of the last bead before the tail, although this may have been part of the material to begin with. Inside diameter measures 2" when coiled, but it expands easily to fit almost any wrist size.
