Dimensions: 1 and 1/3 inches by 2 and 1/4 inches; brooch is a nice weight (13.4 grams); not too heavy and not too light

Description: Fine quality sterling silver Victorian sparrow brooch encrusted with turquoise and seed pearls.  The eye has a cabochon garnet.  On the back is a rose gold gilt to protect the wearer's clothing (the gold wash keeps the tarnish from rubbing off onto one's clothes).
