Condition: excellent, no missing or chipped tesserrae; one extremely small rim chip at 9:00 position. Note: part of the original label still remains on the back!

Description:  Victorian Italian brooch with the tiniest of tesserrae inlaid to create a portrait of a King Charles Spaniel.    When you hold this brooch in your hand, the workmanship is so fine that you actually think it is a painting, rather than a micromosaic!

One unique feature of the brooch is that the Spaniel's eyes actually seem to follow you when you look at it from a different angle!  A true work of art, this brooch will be one of your most treasured pieces! 

The setting is either vermeil.
