Description: This 18kt. gold etui is adorned with a beautiful hard stone cameo. The woman depicted is most likely Mary, Queen of Scots, who was loved in France as much as she was in Scotland. (Etui, the French word used to describe a small ornamental box/case, usually of great value, which was used to hold small items, such as jewelry or sewing items.)
