Dimensions: 2.25 inches by 2.75 inches

Condition: good, there is a flaw in the shell on the back and two tiny flakes on the front, under the frame at the 12:00 position.  The flaw in the shell cannot be seen from the front. 

Year: 1830-50, newer clasp  

Description:  This hard to find cameo carving has fine detail.   The stark white centaur makes a striking figure against the dark brown shell background.  Note the animal skin lying over his shoulder.   The setting is a rose gold filled frame.
