Description: This is one of the finest, most unique carvings I have seen.  Adding to the rarity of this piece, is the vinaigrette back.  The ornate design of the vinaigrette grill is as exceptional as the cameo carving.  The vinaigrette was created out of copper to protect the cameo and frame from caustic oils and perfumes.
