Description: Romantic Victorian 18kt. gold earring and brooch set decorated with a swallow motif. Victorian jewelry decorated with the swallow motif was given as a token of love. The swallow was the messenger of love; carrying secret messages or tokens of affection between two lovers. This French 18kt. gold antique earring and brooch set is accented with cabochon garnets and seed pearls. Note the lovely filigree work on the sides.
