Description:  Rare Victorian ring with a book shaped top that opens to reveal a photo!  I do not know if the tiny photo is a tin-type, daguerreotype, or "just" a photo but it depicts a young woman.  This is a sentimental ring, not a mourning ring.  The hidden photo indicates that this ring was worn by someone who could not reveal their love for the lovely young woman in the photo.  The ring is from my collection and is 9kt. rose gold.
