Description: Stark mourning miniature is comprised of blonde hair work and brown/black sepia paint. The background is most likely ivory. The miniature is framed by a chased rose gold bezel. Inscription on the back reads, "Willm Sadler, died 2 Aug, 1783; aged 42". The ring shank has ornate chase work on both sides. Setting is rose gold, most likely 9kt. but could be higher.
