Description: Touching Georgian mourning ring dedicated to, "the memory of the best of friends". This rare and unique sentiment surrounds a mourning miniature made of dark brown hair and sepia paint. The background is most likely ivory and the setting is rose gold, probably 9kt.. Inscription on the back reads, "Hen'' Hall Esq., dies 23 Aug. 1782, aet 42."
