Description: Unique Georgian mourning brooch commemorating the loss of: “A R Mitchell ob 3 June 1810 ae 36”. The center of the brooch has a willow tree comprised of blonde hair which cascades down over a mother of pearl tomb. The tomb is accented with gold wire and tiny white enamel beads. At the base of the tomb is finely ground brown hair. Inside the locket on the back is brown braided hair. The setting is 9kt. rose gold with natural pearls and black enamel.
