Description: A rare
English gold and enamel mourning ring in superb condition.
The top of the ring is hair work on ivory and depicts two entwined initials
surrounded by a garland of leaves.
This 18kt. gold ring has a wonderful scrolled or "wavy" Rococo style shank.
The black enamel on the ring reads, "Eliz Young ob 23 April 1749."
Note also the unique crystal locket back on the ring!
