Description: Fine hair work miniature commemorating the death of two people. The miniature was created from various shades of blonde and brown hair. The background of the miniature is painted ivory; note the blue, cloudy sky. At the base of the tomb, are blonde forget-me-nots. Cascading over the ornate tomb is a weeping willow tree. In the background, tall cypress trees stand strong and straight. On the tomb, in Dutch are two death dates and two sets of initials: AvdF and PTdH. On the back of the miniature is the original makers label! The miniature was created by B. A. Seghers, Gold and Silversmith, in the city of Nijkerk.
