Description:  Superbly executed hair work on ivory that is artist signed and dated.  This French work of art depicts a young woman holding a bouquet of dying roses while leaning upon the grave of her loved one.  Note the fine detail in the face, the hair and the background.  This is a very fine quality work of art.
