Description: In memorial art work, The dog was used as a symbol of fidelity and loyalty. In this picture, the dog is sitting next to the tomb and guarding it. The hairwork is on ivory and the frame is ebony wood. Above the tomb hangs a banner with the name "Fanny" written on it. It is difficult to find memorial art with a dog. The hairwork in this picture is very high quality.
