Item: Great Jet and Hair earrings

Dimensions: approx. 1 and 3/4 inches long; across the bottom it is almost 1 inch

Condition: excellent; minor abrasion on a few of the jet stones.

Year: 1840-60

Description: I have not seen a pair of mourning earrings this nice in years! The crescent moons have tightly woven brown hair in them. They are 9kt. gold and highlighted with Whitby Jet.
