Condition: excellent to near mint; enamel is mint with NO restoration.

Year: dated 1853

Description: This 15kt. gold brooch is very striking! The contrast of the hard stone cameo against the black enamel setting makes this brooch really stand out. The quality of this piece is excellent. The cameo carving is very well done and the overall workmanship of the brooch is superb. The hard stone cameo depicts a tomb with a forget me not at its base.
