Description: There are several aspects of this piece that make it unique and very desirable. First, This touching piece is rich in symbolism. The lady is pointing to her heart and her hand that is pointing rests upon a cage containing 2 love birds. The birds are looking up at her. The birds in the cage and the perches they are sitting upon are 3-D, they are applied to the background and come out from the rest of the image. This 3-D effect makes the image particularly striking. I think the background is opaque glass but it could be ivory. The setting is a low karat rose gold. This piece would have been attached to a black satin or velvet band and worn at the neck in a choker style. This is a very unique piece. I can definitely say, I am 99.9% confident that one will NOT find another memorial piece with this image. I do not like using the words, "one of a kind" but in this case, I think it is warranted.
